BITCOIN CIRCUMSTANCES IN CHINA
Although Bitcoin can arguably is the pioneer of a whole cryptocurrency, it didn't make his position stronger in every country around the world. It looks from its position in the list of the top virtual currency which was released by the Chinese Government.
In the list of named Global Public Chain Assessment Index released by the China Center for Information Industry Development (CCID), a part of the Ministry of industry and information technology the bamboo curtain country, Bitcoin only ranked 13. The index itself contains 28 project-based blockchain that belongs to cryptocurrency.
The first rank is occupied by Ethereum, the virtual currency that can arguably be one of the main competitors of the Bitcoin in terms of market capitalization. Both rulers of the largest cryptocurrency market with Bitcoin has a capitalization of USD 140 billion, whereas the Ethereum USD 69 billion. Overall, the market capitalization of over 1,500 cryptocurrencies in circulation in the world almost reaches 380 billion USD.
